Since it is Valentine’s Day, my friends and I decided to eat at Barbeque Boss at MTS, since we were craving for barbeque on a cold drizzling night. Since we're on a tight budget, my friend and I chose the Squid which was (100g) for Php50, before I even told the waiter my order, I specifically pointed it out on the menu that we wanted the squid for Php50. We also added an additional Php15 to avail the unli-rice since we were starving already. Unfortunately, our orders took an hour before it reached us, but we adjusted to the situation because it's a busy night and it's Valentine's Day, but not even a single waiter has captured our attention when we tried to ask to follow up our orders, we even approached the counter so that we can ask the other waiters, all the waiters were in the counter struggling to get the customers orders. After a while, we were happily eating our meal and we asked for water but unfortunately, yet again, the waiters has disappointed us, because they had a shortage of drinking glasses, so we decided to bill out as fast as we can because if we didn’t, it would probably take more longer than our orders . Upon billing out, I was just so shocked to see the price of the Squid that we just ordered was PHP250. How is this possible? When I looked at the menu again, BUT THE SQUID THAT WE ORDERED SAYS Php50. I called the waiter and he said that the one that "we" ordered is 200grams that is why it is PHP250. I'm confused because the one on the menu is "100grams". The waiter did not even give us a "reminder" or anything that there were different kinds of squids regarding their price or size. There's also no indication on the menu that they’re serving 200grams of Squid, it wasn’t written or printed on the menu. I wanted to ask the waiter something but it seems that the waiter was in silence and kind of blanked out and cannot entertain us anymore. He even wanted us to leave in a hurry since the other customers are getting cranky and new costumers are coming. I am a new costumer and I am not aware of it. I was really expecting to pay Php75 pesos for my meal. If that was the case, I suggest they make their menu a little clearer or at least, make the service more accommodating. It's confusing really. It's like forcing people to pay for the "wrong impressions" on the menu. Their service was just terrible, and we were suppose to have a lot of fun on this day of hearts, but ended up breaking our hearts from disappointment. 

May this learning experience be a lesson to all.
